Hand Geometry Technology
The HandPunch 3000-E uses Schlage’s field-proven hand geometry biometric technology. The terminal captures an image of the hand each time the employee punches. The hand’s size and the shape are used to verify their identity with unparalleled accuracy. No fingerprints or palm prints are utilized. The technology works well indoor as well as in harsh environments

Programmable Data Management Keys
The HandPunch 3000-E has two user-definable data management keys that let you collect data as employees punch. Common uses include department transfers, tips collected, job codes, or pay codes.

Edit-at-the-Clock Functions
The HandPunch 3000-E allows supervisors to override user restrictions and to input such items as missed punches, planned vacations, and sick time at the terminal. The password-protected mode provides greater supervisor flexibility by lessening the need for computer edits. Audit trails documenting the use of these functions are generated to ensure security

This means you get additional the additional versatility of a job-costing and job-tracking device, along with user-friendly and cost-effective workforce management.

Edit-at-the-clock capability – supervisors can override user restrictions to input data such as missed punches, planned vacations and sick time right at the terminal. A built-in audit trail documents each of these functions to ensure the highest level of security.

Handheld barcode scanner – the laser scanner plugs directly into the HandPunch 4000-S, drawing power from the unit, so there is no need for extra wires or power supply. The scanners are configured to read code 3 of 9 (code 39) and interleaved 2 of 5 (1-2 of 5) formats.
